what you can expect from us

Along with Public Health guidelines, there are standards of practice set out to us by our governing college, (CMTO), that we be following daily.

✅ We wash hands for 20 seconds or more before and after treating clients.

✅ We greet with a big warm smile and not a hug or handshake.

✅ We disinfect all surfaces and materials used during a visit including the massage table, desk, chairs, headrest, stool, door handles, high touch point surfaces etc with products approved and registered with Health Canada.

✅ We have medical grade air purifiers running 24/7 in each treatment room

✅ We have our sheets professionally laundered

✅ We have windows in each room that, by request, can be opened between appointments and during appointments to allow for air exchange.

✅ All practitioners who share the practice environment have been trained in the new operating policies and procedures and have consented to complying to theses procedures

✅ Staff and therapists will have required Personal Protective Equipment on hand if needed and have been trained in donning and doffing PPE properly

✅ We continually monitor changes to infection control practices (health alerts) and update our practice accordingly

✅ Staff and therapists will continue to self-assess daily and will stay home/cancel their shift if experiencing any illness symptoms

✅ We are a safe, non-discriminatory and judgment free zone

policies

cancellation & arriving late policy

Late Cancellations & Missed Appointments:

When booking with us, you are agreeing to our cancellation policy.

At Continuum Wellness, we strive to provide exceptional care and service to all our patients. Our therapists are independent contractors that rely on scheduled appointments to manage their time effectively and provide personalized care to each patient.

In order to maintain this level of service and support our therapist’s livelihood, we kindly ask for your understanding regarding our cancellation policy.

  • Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide us a minimum of 24 hours notice. In the event of insufficient notice (less than 24 hours), a partial or full appointment fee will be charged at the therapist’s discretion.

  • Last minute cancellations (less than 4 hours notice), multiple late cancellations, or failure to attend your reserved time will result in a full fee being charged for the missed appointment.

These fees directly support your therapist. Thank you for understanding.

If you have an emergency, please let us know so that we can treat your specific situation with personal attention.  We do not consider work or schedule conflicts to be emergencies. Thank you for understanding and respecting our time.

Arriving Late

  • In the past if you arrived late for your appointment we did our best to accommodate your full booking. However going forward we will have to shorten your treatment in order to maintain staggered appointment bookings times and adhere to capacity limits. You will be billed for the full cost of the original booking.

This cancellation policy is necessary for our small business to continue to serve our clients who are in need of treatment, and also to make massage therapy a feasible career for our therapists.

tipping policy

  • Tipping is not expected or necessary. Our RMTs are passionate about what they do and are committed to your health. Your return visits to the clinic are the best tip and referrals of a friend, family member or co-worker are greatly appreciated!

Continuum Wellness takes the privacy of our clients, therapists, and staff seriously.

Health information, including vaccination status, is considered private and cannot be shared without the express consent of the individual (https://www.ipc.on.ca/privacy-individuals/your-privacy-rights/).
