Sjoukje Remark, RMT
Founder & Clinic Director
Sjoukje helped bring Continuum Wellness to life driven by a passion to provide a space that combined outstanding client care and a collaborative team environment.
Sjoukje grew up on the West Coast before moving to Toronto where she spent several years in healthcare management and gained extensive knowledge managing multiple practitioners across numerous disciplines.
In 2005 she graduated with honors from Sutherland-Chan School & Teaching clinic and was the recipient of the inaugural Weirfoulds Award for highest overall performance in all clinical and academic subjects. A couple of years later she returned as a member of faculty where she taught Orthopedic Assessment to second year students.
After working at several different clinics, post graduation, Sjoukje saw a need to bring an integrated and patient focused model of care to the Uptown Toronto neighborhood. It's now been over 14 years and Sjoukje is ecstatic to see her hard work and passion evolve into an amazing Health Centre dedicated to helping the neighborhood feel and be better!
Sjoukje has returned part-time since the addition of her third child a couple years ago. She is happy to be able to spend more time at home with her children while managing the clinic and running educational monthly WORKSHOPS out of the Yoga Studio. She is available to assist with any client care matters as well as help direct clients to other therapists as her availability is limited. So please don't hesitate to connect with her.
Sjoukje is the owner of Continuum Wellness, a Registered Massage Therapist, Infant Massage Instructor, and Educator.
